The Canadian government has decided to send as many as 10 police officers to Colombia as part of international efforts to demobilize militant groups and monitor the cease-fire there, reports CBC News.
Some officers are expected to serve with the United Nations mission, with others being part of a bilateral deployment working directly with Colombia's national police.
