A Marine MV-22 Osprey squadron will deploy to Afghanistan for the first time next month, the Marine Corps Times reports.
Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 261, based at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., is next in line to deploy and is expected to be selected for the deployment, said Marine officials. However, no orders have yet been issued.
