A U.S. Air Force CV-22 Osprey crashed in southern Afghanistan's Zabul province overnight Friday, killing four Americans, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The dead included three military personnel and a civilian employee, while "numerous" other people were injured, according to a NATO statement.
The tilt-rotor Osprey is used in Afghanistan for long-range infiltration and resupply.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for shooting down the aircraft. Afghan government officials...
