Oshkosh Wins Order For More Than 2,600 Military Trucks

The U.S. Army has placed a major order for more than 2,600 trucks and trailers from the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FTMVs), reports Oshkosh Defense, the Wisconsin-based builder of the vehicles.
This $410 million contract covers 2,634 FMTV vehicles. The order is part of a five-year, multi-billion dollar award for more than 23,000 vehicles.
Deliveries are scheduled between March and December 2011.
