Oshkosh Wins Award For M-ATV Protection Kits

The U.S. Army has awarded Oshkosh Defense a contract to supply thousands of protection kits for MRAP All-Terrain Vehicles (M-ATVs), reports the Wisconsin-based company, which builds the M-ATV.

The $234.8 million contract covers more than 4,300 M-ATV kits, including 3,800 rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) protection kits, 500 explosively-formed penetrator (EFP) add-on armor kits as well as in-field service and parts.

Work under the contract is scheduled to be completed in April...
