Oshkosh To Supply New, Recapitalized Vehicles

The U.S. Army has placed an order for thousands of new and recapitalized logistics vehicles, reports Oshkosh Defense, the Wisconsin-based builder of the vehicles.

The $801 million contract covers a total of 2,450 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT) and Palletized Load System Trailers (PLST).

The order includes more than 1,190 new HEMTT A4s, 180 new HEMTT A2 and 80 PLSTs. More than 1,020 recapitalized HEMTT A4s are part of the order as well.
