Oshkosh Delivers 1st Truck In Huge Order To Wisconsin National Guard

The U.S. military has fielded its first Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) trucks produced by Oshkosh Defense with the Wisconsin National Guard, reports the Oshkosh, Wis.-based company.
The 1157th Transportation Company took delivery of the first vehicle, a 5-ton standard cargo variant.
Oshkosh received the five-year FMTV contract less than a year ago. The firm has received orders for more than 18,000 vehicles so far.
The original contract was worth $3 billion....
