The U.N. Security Council has approved a recommendation from the world body's secretary-general covering the size, operational aspects and mandate of a planned observer mission in Colombia, reports the U.N. News Service.
The U.N. Mission in Colombia will have 450 unarmed observers and operate in 40 locations, according Resolution 2307, which was unanimously adopted on Tuesday.
