Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, Texas, has received a contract to build an F-35 test aircraft for the Netherlands, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The US$107.6 million contract covers one low-rate initial production IV (LRIP IV) conventional takeoff and landing F-35 aircraft, as well as ancillary mission equipment and pilot equipment items.
Work is scheduled to be completed in February 2013. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting authority. ...
