Order Placed For 110 Armored Logistics Transports

The German military has ordered more than a hundred armored vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks in Woerth, Germany, the company reports.
The Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement signed an agreement last month with Daimler AG for the delivery of 110 Zetros 4x4 GTF armored logistics vehicles.
Under the terms of the contract, the first 25 vehicles will be delivered this year, with the remaining 85 expected by July 2014.
