Authorities in Sudan have arrested an Islamist opposition leader not long after he called for a Tunisia-style uprising, Agence France-Presse reports.
According to the family of Hassan al-Turabi, he was arrested early Tuesday at his Khartoum home after warning in an AFP interview that a revolt similar to Tunisia's might take place in Sudan.
The arrest was said to be one of many against members of his Popular Congress Party (PCP).
