Operation Helps Clear N. Badghis Province

Afghan and NATO troops say they have concluded a multi-day clearing operation in and around Bala Murghab, Badghis province, NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) reports.

Afghan troops from the 207th Kandak, along with their ISAF partners, used close air support and mortar fire to remove insurgents from the southern edge of Bala Murghab during Operation Subh Bakhair (Good Morning).
