The Canadian Dept. of National Defense has purchased nine U.S. helicopters for spare parts, reports the Ottawa Citizen.

The nine US101 helicopters and additional spare parts, bought for Can$164 million (US$166 million), will be used with Canada's Cormorant search-and-rescue helicopters.
