Old Military Equipment Placed On Sales Block

The Danish military has decided to sell more of its aging inventory left from the Cold War, reports the Copenhagen Post.

The armed forces have already sold 230 Leopard I tanks to a German company in Flensburg for US$3.7 million.

The military is also offering seven rescue helicopters, 140 armored personnel carriers, three frigates, spare parts and various types of ammunition.

The sales are expected to raise more than US$18 million over the next several years, according to...
