Oil Workers Freed In Raid By Security Forces

A Nigerian military raid on Wednesday night freed 19 hostages in the Niger Delta, the Guardian (U.K.) reports.
Most of the hostages were oil workers captured in separate militant attacks on rigs this month, said a hostage negotiator. The others apparently included construction workers.
Two U.S. workers, one Canadian, two French and two Indonesians were among the rescued hostages, said officials.
