Offshore Patrol Vessel Ready To Take Part In E.U. Anti-Piracy Mission

A Colombian warship has joined the European Union's counter-piracy force off the coast of Somalia, reports the European Union Naval Force (EUNAVFOR).

The 7 De Agosto recently completed sea trials with the Spanish navy, which ensured her readiness for the counter-piracy mission, according to an EUNAVFOR release on Tuesday.

A Spanish navy liaison team is embarked on the Colombian ship to provide any needed support or advice.
