Officers Seek New Counterinsurgency Training Center

Indian army officials have called for a dedicated center to train paramilitary and police personnel for operations against Maoist militants, reports the Press Trust of India.
Such a facility could be created in the same fashion as the army's Counterinsurgency and Jungle Warfare School in Mizoram, officials said at a commander's conference in New Delhi.
Military personnel would also serve as instructors at the new center, said proponents.
