Troops from the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) have been getting ready for an offensive against Rwandan rebels in the east of the country, reports the Voice of America News.
As of Monday, the U.N. mission had pre-positioned troops to support a U.N.-Congolese offensive against the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), said a U.N. spokesman.
