Thailand's south has been hit with almost two dozen arson and bomb attacks, reports Agence France-Presse, citing army officials on Friday.
Tires were set on fire overnight and electricity poles damaged by explosives, causing widespread blackouts, said the army.
The incidents took place in three southern provinces and four districts of Songkhla city, said an army spokesman.
