An Air Force audit has discovered that nine bases improperly cataloged or failed to record nearly 1,000 nuclear-related items, the Air Force Times reports.
None of the errors harmed the security or safety of weapons, said officials.
The audit, conducted last year and released in May, examined 25 bases to validate an inventory of more than 18,000 nuclear weapons-related items.
