Finland is hosting forces from Norway and the U.S. for training in its northern Lapland region, reports YLE, the Finnish Broadcasting Corp.
About 100 foreign soldiers are joining elements of the Finnish Jaeger Brigade and Kainuu Brigade for the Riekko 19 field exercise in Sodankyla, which began on May 15 and runs through May 24.
About 800 troops and 200 vehicles are taking part in the drills.
