Norway has announced plans to purchase an additional 24 155-mm K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzers from South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace. The deal, valued at 5.65 billion Norwegian kroner ($534 million) will augment Oslo’s existing arsenal of 28 tracked K9 howitzers and 14 K10 Thunder ammunition resupply vehicles.
