North's Missile Threat Prompts Purchase Of 2 More Early Warning Radars

The South Korean government has decided to buy two advanced early warning radars to detect ballistic missiles in response to growing threats from North Korea, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul), citing procurement officials.
Defense Minister Han Min Koo approved the procurement during a regular meeting on weapons projects, said the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) on Tuesday.
The radars are expected to be purchased this year.
