Noose Tightens Around Ramadi Before Final Assault

Iraqi forces are said to be in a position to make a final assault against the Islamic State (ISIS) defenders in Ramadi in Anbar province, reports USA Today.
The government troops expect to tighten their cordon around the city to cut off escape routes before beginning an operation to clear militants from the city, said an unnamed senior official with the U.S.-led coalition that is supporting the mission.
