As of Thursday morning, a cease-fire in Syria appears to be holding, reports the Washington Post.
Government and rebel forces agreed to a U.N.-sponsored plan to stop shooting after 6 a.m. on Thursday, local time.
There have been reports of some shelling in the Damascus suburb of Zabadani and a shell reportedly landed in a rural mountainous area of Hama, according to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
