N.J. Man Charged With Plotting To Support Islamic State

FBI agents have arrested a New Jersey man suspected of supporting the Islamic State terrorist group, reports NBC News.

Samuel Rahamin Topaz, 21, was arrested on Thursday during a raid on his Fort Lee home. He appeared in federal court in Newark on charges of providing material support for terror activities. He is being held without bail.

Topaz admitted to sympathizing with ISIS and expressing and interest in joining the terror group, according to prosecutors.
