Next High-Speed Vessel To Be Named Millinocket

The next Joint High-Speed Vessel will be named Millinocket, after the Maine towns of Millinocket and East Millinocket, reports the Dept. of Defense.
Navy Secretary Ray Mabus made the announcement on Wednesday. He noted the JHSV would succeed the USS Stephen W. Groves, a frigate decommissioned early this year.
