The Swedish government has announced milestones for the navy’s A26-class submarine program, reports defense-aerospace.com.
The first two submarines in the class will be named Blekinge and Skane, respectively, the Swedish Defense Material Administration (FMV) said in a release on Tuesday.
The boats are named after coastal regions in line with the navy’s longstanding tradition, the release said.
