Newly Commissioned Electronic Reconnaissance Ship To Join North Sea Fleet

China's navy has commissioned a new electronic intelligence ship, according to the state-run China Military Online.
The Kaiyangxing was commissioned in a ceremony on Jan. 10 at the port in Qindao in China's northern Shandong province.
The Dongdiao-class (Type 815A) intelligence-collection ship will join the North Sea Fleet, according to a statement on Thursday. The ship, also called Mizar, carries the hull code 856, noted the Press Trust of India.
