China has put a new test satellite into orbit, reports Xinhua, China’s state news agency.
On Wednesday morning, the Tianxing-1 test satellite was launched onboard a Kuaixhou-1A carrier rocket and put into orbit.
The spacecraft will be used primarily for experiments such as “space environment detection,” officials said without providing further details.
