New Targeting Pod For B-1B Bomber Requires Store Separation Tests

The U.S. Air Force has begun store separation tests to evaluate the effects of the integration of a new targeting pod on the B-1B bomber, reports the Air Force News Service.

The new pod configuration features enhanced avionics, improving the ability of the crew to locate targets, said an Air Force official.
