New Super Hornets Called Ready For Duty

The Royal Australian Air Force says it has achieved initial operational capability with its new F/A-18F Super Hornet fighters, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
The milestone was reached when four new aircraft arrived this week at RAAF Base Amberley in eastern Australia.
The aircraft traveled over several days from Boeing's St. Louis facility in the U.S. to bases in California, Hawaii and Guam.
