Malaysia's newest French-built attack submarine recently departed France on its homeward voyage, reports DCNS, the French shipbuilder.
The Tun Razak, the second of two Perdana Menteri-class subs ordered by the Malaysian navy, is scheduled to take two months to reach Lumut in Malaysia, including several port calls.
The sub will then undergo maintenance and tropical climate sea trials.
The Tun Razak left Toulon on April 30.
Malaysia ordered the two submarines in June 2002....
