New Strategy Eyed For Sub-Saharan Africa

The White House has announced a new U.S. strategy for sub-Saharan Africa, the BBC reports.
The U.S. will develop preferential trade agreements with African countries, while continuing to fight Al-Qaida and its affiliates, said a White House statement on Thursday.
The Obama administration said it has also begun to reach out to try to match U.S. and African companies for business opportunities.
