The Indian navy has commissioned a second sail training ship during a ceremony in Vasco on India's west coast, reports the Press Trust of India.
INS Sudarshini, constructed by the Goa Shipyard, is a steel-hulled, round-bilged, three-masted sailing ship that is square-rigged on the forward and mainmast and fore- and aft-rigged on the mizzen mast.
The training has 18 sails with a total area of about 11,140 square feet (1,035 square m), according to a shipyard spokesman. ...
