A new military report says the German armed forces has become so short of some equipment that it has limited its ability to train, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
For example, the army has been using Mercedes vans to simulate armored personnel carriers during drills, according to an annual report.
The special operations forces were also forced to cancel a NATO exercise due to the lack of helicopters, according to the report by the Bundestag's military commissioner.
