Syrian rebels say they have formed a Palestinian brigade in Damascus to battle Palestinian pro-government forces, Reuters reports.
About 150,000 Palestinians live in the capital's Yarmouk refugee camp, which is divided between pro- and anti-Assad supporters.
The new Liwa al-Asifah (Storm Brigade), which consists entirely of Palestinians, has been given the job of controlling Yarmouk, said a rebel commander from the Suqour al-Golan (Golan Falcons) brigade.
