A Chinese shipbuilder has requested bids for an experimental nuclear-powered platform that may have implications for Beijing's future aircraft carriers, reports the South China Morning Post.
China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) has invited bids for the nuclear-powered ship, which it described as an "experimental platform" in tender documents.
The bidding process closes on Wednesday.
