New Process Slashes Maintenance Time For Forward-Deployed Littoral Ships

The U.S. Navy has reorganized the process for responding to maintenance issues for littoral combat ships deployed in the Asia-Pacific region, reports USNI News.
The new process was developed under the lead of Rear Adm. Don Gabrielson, the commander of Logistics Group Western Pacific/Task Force 73.
The current rotational deployment of USS Coronado (LCS 4) was designed in part to prepare for multiple littoral ships deployed through Singapore and elsewhere.
