President Jair Bolsonaro says he might accept a U.S. military base on Brazilian soil, reports Reuters, citing local media.
Developments in the region could force Brazil to seek outside support, in which case he would be willing to negotiate such a facility, Bolsonaro told the SBT television station on Thursday.
The new president cited the worsening situation in Venezuela and Russia's support for the Maduro government as one area of potential concern.
