The South Korean government has introduced a set of measures to deter leaks and strengthen the domestic arms industry, reports the Yonhap news agency (Soeul).
The new policy introduced by the defense ministry and Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) includes penalizing firms for leaks, a means to encourage voluntary disclosure of leaks and strengthening background checks on Korean and foreign employees of domestic defense firms working abroad.
