British Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson says the U.K. is planning to open new military bases in the Caribbean and Southeast Asia, reports the Sunday Telegraph (London).
Williamson did not reveal where such bases might be located but said that logistics and supply locations could be established in Singapore or Brunei.
As the U.K. withdraws from the European Union, it will seek deeper relations with international partners, said Williamson.
