South Africa and four other countries have assumed their seats as non-permanent members of the U.N. Security Council for 2019-2020, reports the African News Agency.
South Africa will dedicate its two-year tenure on the Security Council to the legacy of the late President Nelson Mandela and his commitment to peace, the South African Dept. of International Relations and Cooperation said on Tuesday.
