New Navy Joint Standoff Weapon Achieves Full Operational Capability

The U.S. Navy recently declared the latest variant of the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) ready for full operational capability, reports the Naval Air Systems Command.

The command said on Wednesday that all U.S. squadrons are now equipped with the JSOW C1. It is the Navy's first air-to-ground network-enabled weapon that can strike stationary land and moving maritime targets.
