New National Guard Center To Focus On Cyber Security, IT Missions

The Latvian national guard has opened a center for information technology security as part of its cyber defense unit, reports Sargs.lv, a Latvian military news portal.
The facility is located at the headquarters of the national guard (Zemessardze) in Riga. It was inaugurated in a Jan. 14 ceremony attended by Defense Minister Raimonds Vejonis and Gen. Raimonds Graube, the defense chief.
