New Maritime Patrol Aircraft To Help Patrol Europe's Borders

The Maltese military has formally inducted a second maritime patrol aircraft, reports the Malta Independent.

The King Air B200 aircraft was rolled out during a Tuesday ceremony, about a year since the first plane entered service.

The two aircraft were purchased for 19.4 million euros (US$25.9 million), with significant funding provided by the European Union External Borders Fund.
