Problems with oxygen concerning the Air Force's F-22 Raptor fighters may be worse than previously thought, reports the Los Angeles Times, citing information released by two members of Congress.
Pilots have experienced 26 incidents of apparent oxygen deprivation per 100,000 flight hours, according to information released by Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) on Thursday. This hypoxia-like rate is 10 times higher than for any other Air Force aircraft.
