The European Union has launched a new strategy for the Indo-Pacific region, reports Deutsche Welle.
The plan announced on Thursday is intended to boost the bloc’s political and defense ties to the Indo-Pacific.
The strategy includes exploring enhanced naval deployments by member states to protect sea lines of communication and freedom of navigation in the region.
