New Homeland Security Ministry To Be Headed By Deputy Defense Minister

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the creation of a new Homeland Security Ministry at the start of Wednesday's Cabinet meeting, reports the Jerusalem Post.
The ministry will be headed by Matan Vilna'i, currently a deputy defense minister from the Independence faction in the coalition government.
The prime minister praised Vilna'i for bringing his significant experience to the post.
