New Hand Grenade In More Than 4 Decades To Be Safer, Deadlier

The U.S. Army is working on a new hand grenade that is designed to be safer, more lethal and more flexible, reports the Army Times.

The current M67 grenade has been in service since 1968 and is in need of updating, according to Maj. Jason Bohannon, the head of the lethality branch at Fort Benning's Maneuver Center of Excellence.
